Pick up was on time, drove about 10 min to a place called “Safari”, this is basically where all the quad and buggy tours start. There you can buy a scarf for a few euros and they help you put it on but you can also bring your own. No helmet. No real instruction, just sit on your quad, tell you how to break and how to accelerate, stay in one line behind the guide. We were only about 10 Quads in the Tour but we saw other tours with double or even more so that was a plus. The drive itself was rather slow, they always stop so the photographer can take pictures of you (it’s printed already when you finish and you can buy it for 2 €). After about 30min you reach the Echo Temple, kids come to try to sell bracelets and then you continue to a small beduin area where you wait 20-30 min until people did their camel ride (I didn’t do it). It’s nice to be in the middle of the mountains but don’t expect sand, it’s more like a very bumpy gravel road.
