This tour is a great option to get from Assuan tu Luxor and enjoy the rather long drive. You can explore the three temples at Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna rather briefly on your own (without a guide). This is great because the temples are not that big anyways. Esna is really tiny, but has absolutely beautiful colors that you won't find in any temple more to the south. Edfu is really monumental and a must-see. Kom Ombo is nice and located right at the Nile, but also quite small. Traffic in the cities can be insane, the trip took us over 9 hours, but Edfu made it really worth it for me.

We enjoyed driving through the farming villages and the market day business. It gave us a different insight into life in Egypt. Mohammed ATI was an excellent guide at Kom Ombo, the most information from any guide that we have had. Alex was a great driver.

the drive and the visits were very interesting. the time spent at each site was perfect for a good look around. I really enjoyed seeing the life of the Egyptian people in the villages as we drove between aswan and luxor. mohamed was a great driver! really glad we did the trip!

This activity was excellent. The driver navigated the roads safely and each stop was organized to perfection. I met my guides at each location and received information that elevated my experience. There were no issues at all. In particular, I'd like to shout out Asmaa. She took the time to explain everything very clearly at the Temple of Khnum and I never felt rushed at all. She also took some excellent photos and gave good advice for the rest of my time in Egypt. Make sure you ask for Asmaa as your tour guide since she is the best in Egypt!

We really love this tour! Our driver was very professional and courteous! Driving was smooth and safe. The car was clean and comfortable, with really good AC! We also loved the two tour guides at the two temples. They were able to explain all the history and hieroglyphs to us, really knowledgeable and professional. This is my favourite tour in Egypt so far! The journey allowed us to see the rural life of people here, so definitely something you cannot see on the cruise. I really recommend everyone to go on this tour.

A 6am pick up in Aswan meant you'll be beating most crowds to Kom Ombo and even Edfu Temple before getting dropped off at your accommodation in Luxor. The guides were excellent in describing the hieroglyphics inside the pyramids and can't thank my driver enough for navigating the whole distance like a champ! In my opinion, no better way to go from Aswan to Luxor!
