Mixed feelings about visiting after reading mixed reviews. However we had a great time visiting with our 1-year old. Here are our pros and cons: 🟢 Loved the petting zoo with turtles 🟢 Great variety. A lot of animals and fish. A lot bigger than I expected. 🟢 Seing the animals up close. 🟢 The tunnel with fish swimming all around you 🟢 Fair price given all the animals you get to see. 🟢 Not very crowded when we visited 🔴 The cages and tanks seemed a bit small and “boring” for the animas. However they were clean and well maintained. 🔴 we brought our stroller. Would recommend a carrier instead. Parts were not stroller friendly (bumpy, some stairs, sand etc) 🔴 the bathrooms were dated and there were no paper. 🔴 the shop for snacks and drinks were expensive and dirty. Would recommend bringing your own. Definitely worth a visit!

As soon as you walk in you will be offered food for all creatures at the park for very cheap, i recommend you take them all for the best experience. There are photographers all throughout the park who take very good pictures and capture your best angles. My favourite part was feeding the massive tortoises I think, they are very cheeky and come running after you for food. We stayed for the shark show where the divers bring all the sea creatures to the glass and let you take great pictures with them. It was funny to watch the divers spinning stringrays like a pizza. We did see some sick animals which was very sad. A budgie was laying on the ground and when I said to the staff that it is sick they said it’s just sleeping, which is not true at all (i keep budgies), they hid her behind a tree stump instead of caring for her. There was also a dead sea horse in its tank which wasn’t very nice to see. Overall a good experience and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Had a fantastic time with my wife and 5 year old daughter. So much to do from feeding sea turtles to monkeys and pelicans. Beautiful fish and animals all well looked after . Staff are all very respectful friendly and helpful. Photographs go out of their way to capture every moment. The shark feeding was amazing while watching the sting rays completely cover the divers it really was magical but bye far the best bit was feeding the turtles and getting to see the babies. I highly recommend anyone coming to Egypt to check out the grand aquarium we will definitely be returning on our next trip to Egypt. Thank you so much

The place looks amazing, the entrance looks like you’re entering a jungle, so much information and animals to see. I thought I would see more exotic fish but overall I loved it ❤️

We really enjoyed our visit. It is not so big but our 4 year old had lot of fun. It would be great if it was little bit better marked where are you supposed to feed the animals.

Very beautiful aquarium and zoo. A little small but still interesting

I haven’t visited an aquarium in my adult life, so I can’t really compare sizes or layouts. That said, the cleanliness of the glass was sometimes lacking, which made it harder to clearly see some of the sea animals. What genuinely troubled us was the body language of the monkeys, which raised concerns and made me question supporting such places, even though I hope the animals are treated well overall. Seeing sharks and stingrays up close was impressive, especially since I will never dive, so it felt like a safe alternative to that experience. The crocodiles were truly majestic and gave me chills, particularly as someone from the Balkans with little exposure/education around reptiles and exotic animals. It definitely increased my respect for nature. The decoration and overall arrangement felt well done and appropriate to African standards. A practical note: following the suggested route requires crossing a hanging bridge, which might cause discomfort for people with a fear of heights.

It’s a decent way to spend 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Nice fish and other animals to see.

Me and my partner really enjoyed the aquarium. It was a good morning out taking up around 2.5/3hrs. We liked that you could feed some of the animals (each animal food was $1) we loved feeding the turtles and thought it was great that they give you gloves to handle to raw fish that you feed the pelicans and turtles.
